I'm going to be blunt about this, since it's 10:14 in the morning and I only just woke up.
One of my best friends right now didn't start out as my friend. In fact, my freshmen year, I didn't really like her (I didn't really like a lot of people that year though). And I thought that she didn't like me! It felt like we just put up with each other because we had the same circle of friends.
Then along rolls our second year of college, and suddenly we're actually sorta getting along, like, outside of when we eat dinner together. And suddenly it's summer and we can't go a day without texting each other or hanging out. I don't know when the switch was thrown and we suddenly became best friends, but I'm glad.
